Category for Movies

Hrm, I wish I had a way to make a category of all the movies I’ve seen so far along with my ratings and review. I’m sure it’s been done before, but I barely know anything about modding this blog. The only significant thing I’ve done to it was add and “About Me” page which took me A LONG TIME TO DO. But I felt proud. :D Anyway, since I watch about 5 movies per week..I’d be great to do. If anyone has ANY idea how to do it, let me know.

I just got done watching Kukushka. It’s a Russian film that takes place in Finland. It’s about a Finnish soldier who is chained to a rock by his comrades (he was considered too much of a weakling and pacifist) and is left with a few supplies to live for a week or so. When he manages to break free, he meets a Lapp woman who lives alone. When he arrives to her house, he sees that she is taking care of a wounded Russian soldier. Since all three of the main characters in this film speak a language that the other cannot understand (Finnish, Lapp, and Russian), there’s a lot of confusion and misunderstanding which leads to a lot of serious (sometimes funny) events. I’d recommend it. It’s subtitled in English since three languages are being actively spoken and I think it’s worth watching. KIND OF WARMS YOUR HEART, YOU KNOW?
